BONUS POINTS ONLY APPLY TO YOU, NOT TO OTHER OP.  Let them earn their own bonus points!
Bonus points can only be claimed once per item except where noted.
You may be required to bring item(s) to TCARC meeting to validate your points.

This is the first contest I've actually entered using my own callsign!	50
1 or more contact using self-modified radio or amp or tuner or power supply.  Must provide description of each piece of self-modified piece of gear claimed.	10 per piece of gear
1 or more contact using homebuilt radio or amp or power supply or key or keyer (not tuner; count as mod above). Must provide description of each homade item claimed.	25 per piece of gear
For high SWR antennas (>9:1), claim 10 points per antenna used to make actual contacts during contest.  Each physical antenna counts as one antenna; different configs of same radiator or feedline do not count. Must provide description of antenna.	10 per antenna
For low SWR antennas (<9:1), claim 5 points per antenna used to make actual contacts during contest.  Each physical antenna counts as one antenna; different configs of same radiator or feedline do not count. Must provide description of antenna.	5 per antenna
Genuine compliments to TCARC officers on the air, IN QSO WITH THEM, 1x per officer	4 per officer
Deduction per antenna involving live animals, or for any other "near field violation" of RF exposure laws.  Note that mobile antennas do not count for this deduction as long as they are mounted on a vehicle.  Also, you must claim ZERO POINTS for any conta	-5 per antenna

Build a kit, moderate or high difficulty (TT2 or better).  Must provide description of piece of gear, and display at TCARC meeting before Dec.	25
Build a true homebuilt piece of "significant gear" - TX, RX, tuner, key, keyer, RXA filter etc.  Must provide description of piece of gear and display at TCARC meeting before 31 Dec 2003.	50
Fix non-functional piece of gear, and make at least 3 contacts with it.  Must provide description of gear.	15
Pay someone else to fix non-functional piece of gear.  (Drag that old thing out of the closet!)  Must provide description of gear.	5
Modify and improve existing piece of gear, and make at least 3 contacts with it.  Must provide description of gear.	5
Take 3 bonus points for contacts with members of the opposite gender (compared to you), up to 10 contacts.	3 per contact, max 30 points
For the first contact with a ham COMPLETELY inactive for 3 months or more, or first contact with a new ham, award yourself 20 points. You must list their name and the date of your contact.	20 points per applicable ham
Contact with children or hams under 18 years of age.  Claim only once per callsign.  Must note their callsign and age, name if possible.	10 per applicable ham
Allowing as-yet unlicensed "Ham2B" to talk on your radio in accord with FCC regs regarding control ops. Must provide names and dates.	5 points per applicable Ham2B
Teaching a radio-related class, working a VE session, tailgating (selling) at a hamfest, presenting at club meeting. Must provide list of dates & activities.	10 points per activity
Per net you were control op for.  Must provide date and net name.	10 per net
Other.  Make deal with N2VR, which will be published and available to all over TCARC Swap Net and mailing list.	as determined
